Maintaining Teaching Standards and Welcoming New Teaching Talent
Living on the Isle of Wight we are surrounded by water. The importance of learning to swim with confidence is absolutely paramount to enjoy the water that surrounds us safely.
Swimming lessons are at the forefront of what the Waterside Community Trust offers and we are constantly maintaining our teaching standards in order to make sure we are teaching correctly and with the most up to date techniques.
Over the recent half term our pool helpers and current teachers underwent their Continual Professional Development Course and we welcomed six new candidates undertaking their teacher training for the first time with our teaching partners Lynn Goring-Crook and Paul Linkins from Southern Swim Schools.
It was an excellent week culminating in all six of our new teachers passing their examinations. Huge congratulations to them all on what was a very tough week.
