Do I need to book lessons?
Yes, you will need to book a place before you join, lessons must be paid for in advance, either call reception or pop into reception.

What do I need to bring to lessons?
Swimwear, a towel, if children feel comfortable goggles can be worn.

How many in a class?
Stages 1 and 2: 8 children
​
Stages 3, 4 and 5: 9 children
​
Stages 6 and 7: 10 children
​
Stage8+: 12 children
​
Rookies: 12 children
​
​
How long are the lessons?
Lessons are 30 minutes. Stage 7 upwards - some can be 45 minutes or 60 minutes.

How old does my child have to be to start lessons?
Stage 0 | 3yrs – 4yrs | An Adult must be in the water with them
Stages 1-10 | 4+ | Your child will be supported by a teacher.

How long are the courses?
We run our swimming lessons 50 weeks of the year.

HOW DO I PAY FOR LESSONS?
All lessons are Direct Debit, working in partnership with Harlands.
Contract 1st Month.

Do I have to stay on site while my child has their lesson?
Yes if you child is under the age of 8, you should stay on site for the duration of the lesson.

What should I do if my child has a medical condition?
Parents/carers must state the medical condition at the time of booking. If this changes please inform reception immediately.

What happens if my child is sick or can’t make lesson?
We do not offer refunds or catch-up lessons. If the illness/injury is long term please contact the centre: enquries@watersidepool.co.uk

What happens if I miss payments?
You must contact us as soon as possible. If the space is still available you will need to reinstate you Direct Debit with Harlands ask Reception for details. Unfortunately, if a space has gone we will try to find you an alternative, this is not guaranteed.

My Child has had lessons elsewhere or not for a long time?
Please give us as much information as you can and we will place in appropriate group.

What parking facilities do you offer?
When you become a member you can purchase a parking pass for a small fee from reception. This entitles you to park along The Esplanade or North Walk. Please see reception for more details.

Do you run Intensive lessons?

Do you run Adult Swimming lessons?
Wednesday mornings 9.30am Beginners and 10am Improvers. Wednesday evenings 6pm.
