Spooky Swim
The date was Saturday the 27th October 2018. There was monster punch, ghoulish cakes, a terrifying lucky dip, chilling decorations, scary smoky fog, killer music and yes, there was the Waterside’s Sppooookkky coloured pool of poison !
The sell out event proved fun and fantastical for all involved, including the staff who got into the spirit themselves with eerie makeup and had a lot of fun setting up the pool for the event. The Waterside Pool is a community pool and was supported by many friends of the pool, which allowed this event to be such a success. The coloured pool concept was first tested last year with a “pumpkin” orange by the Waterside Community Trust and was met with such great success, that they decided to recreate the event again this year with a “poison” purple colour.
The only question that remains now, what colour will the Waterside Pool have next year !
