Inflatable Fun at the Waterside Pool
January 2019 marks the start of an upgrade to the much loved water inflatable assault course at the Waterside pool in Ryde, part of the Waterside Community Trust. For many years it has been hired out for pool parties and events providing much fun on a Saturday afternoon.
However the course’s new design has not been created by a specialist, but by the talents existing within the team at the Waterside Pool. Todd Miller (General Manager) decided to hold a competition amongst the staff to design a new inflatable course and the winning design by Jeannie Hunnybun and Thomas Callaghan was chosen.
The aim was to make it vibrant, exciting, fun, challenging, unusual and has already received rave reviews from course participants. In fact popularity for the course has improved so much that Waterside Pool have now added an additional session on a Saturday to accommodate this, now running at 5.30pm and 7pm.
